Trade counter: terminal, scanner and receipt printer
For a touchscreen counter application, evaluate a Posbank Apexa N97 configuration or Advantech-Aures YUNO C with your implementation team. Existing Xline workflows may still need a separate PC, monitor, keyboard and mouse: check the installed client before replacing that setup. Confirm the processor, operating system, printer driver and drawer connection, then test a sale, receipt and return on a demo.
Mobile Warehouse: check the application and device together
Start with Urovo DT40, RT40 and DT50S handhelds, or a P8100P tablet where a larger screen suits the job. Confirm the supported mobile client and exact device SKU, Android version, scan engine and connectivity. Test receiving, picking, stock counts and bin moves with real labels and site Wi-Fi. Check offline handling, charging, spare batteries and support cover before rollout.
Labels: test the output from your system
Choose desktop or mobile printing to suit the workflow, then confirm label size, barcode format, media, interface and application output. Trial a Bixolon mobile printer before rollout. For two regularly used label sizes, consider separate printers to reduce media changes. Test receipt printing from the actual counter PC or terminal, including driver, connection and cash-drawer operation.
Scanner input and signature capture
Check the scanner output your application expects, including any prefix, suffix and carriage return. If the workflow needs an asterisk (*) followed by carriage return, verify that exact sequence on the proposed scanner before quoting. For signature pads, confirm the model, driver or SDK and document integration; a different brand is not automatically a drop-in replacement.
Get a quote that fits the rollout
Send the GenetiQ or Intact product/version, enabled modules, number of counters and handhelds, peripherals, sites and rollout dates. Include the implementation contact and a sample workflow so hardware and software requirements can be checked together.
Straight answers on the limits
The things worth knowing before you spend, including the ones that are not in our interest to tell you.
- infoThese are hardware evaluation candidates, not a GenetiQ-certified device list.
- infoCloud, on-premise, Xline and existing Intact iQ installations can have different client and module requirements.
- infoOffline handling and label printing depend on the configured application; validate the actual workflow.
- infoConfirm exact SKUs, accessories, software licences, lead times and support arrangements on quotation.
Common questions
Is Intact now called GenetiQ?expand_more
Yes. Intact Software has rebranded to GenetiQ. Confirm your specific product and version: existing Intact iQ and Xline installations do not automatically become GenetiQ Cloud.
Which handheld works with GenetiQ Mobile Warehouse?expand_more
Shortlist Urovo DT40, RT40 or DT50S handhelds, or a P8100P tablet for a larger-screen workflow. Ask your implementation team to confirm the mobile client, operating system and scan-input requirements for the exact SKU. Test receiving, picking and synchronisation on a demo before rollout.
Can you supply the counter and warehouse hardware together?expand_more
Send your terminal, scanner, handheld and label requirements with the implementation specification. We can quote a coordinated shortlist, with configurations and application support checked before ordering.
