NCR FastLane SelfServ R6 — End of Sale: Successor Options

The NCR FastLane SelfServ Checkout R6 family — R6, R6 Narrow and R6L — is no longer available to order through IO Resource. The right replacement depends on whether the project needs a complete narrow lane or a countertop conversion.

Narrow-lane successor: NCR Next Gen Narrow SSCO

The NCR Voyix Next Gen Narrow self-checkout is the direct successor for R6-class narrow lanes. Its compact footprint is designed for convenience and grocery layouts where frontage is limited. IO Resource can configure and stage the hardware and support phased multi-site rollouts across Ireland and the UK.

Countertop option: NCR Next Gen Countertop

Where an existing counter is being converted to card-led customer self-service, the NCR Next Gen Countertop is the current NCR option. The scanner, payment terminal, receipt printer and screen arrangement are specified to the workflow and available counter space.

Different footprint or budget: Pan Oston

We also carry Pan Oston self-checkout and kiosk formats where the project calls for a different footprint, housing style or budget point. Ask us to price the suitable formats side by side.

How an R6 replacement project runs

1. Review the floor plan, basket size and payment policy to choose between a narrow lane and a countertop conversion.
