FastLane SelfServ R6 / R6L — end of sale

End of saleEstate support available

The R6 family is no longer available to order. Existing lanes can be supported while a phased replacement is planned.

The NCR FastLane SelfServ Checkout R6 family — R6, R6 Narrow and R6L — is no longer available to order through IO Resource. The self-checkout demand those lanes served has not gone anywhere, and the replacement options are stronger than what they succeed. This guide covers the formats we supply and deploy today.

The successor: NCR Next-Gen Narrow SSCO

NCR Voyix’s Next-Gen Narrow self-checkout is the direct successor for R6-class lanes: a compact footprint designed for convenience and grocery floor plans where every centimetre of frontage counts. We supply it configured and staged, support phased multi-site rollouts, and handle warranty and RMA from Ireland.

Cashless counters: NCR SelfServ 90

Where the answer is card-only self-service — pharmacy, hospitality, convenience top-up lanes — the NCR SelfServ 90 is the compact cashless option: a smaller unit, faster to deploy, without cash-handling maintenance.

Different footprint or budget: Pan Oston

We also carry Pan Oston self-checkout and kiosk formats — a strong European alternative where the project calls for a different footprint, housing style or budget point. Ask us to price the options side-by-side.

How an R6 replacement project runs

  1. Floor-plan and payment-policy review — which lanes stay cash-accepting, which go cashless.
  2. Hardware selection and configuration — units staged and imaged before dispatch, to your POS vendor’s spec.
  3. Phased rollout — site by site, with your integrator or IT team; we handle the hardware end.
  4. Aftercare — warranty, RMA and spares from Ireland for the life of the estate.
